Suffolk boasts some incredible stately homes and grand houses and here are three of our favourites, all of which are available for filming now.

Sotterley Hall

Sotterley Hall is a Georgian mansion house built in 1744, overlooking a stunning lake. The hall is a Grade I listed building and is H-shaped with two wings and a central facade with nine windows. A number of associated buildings close to the hall, including stables, a water tower and cowsheds, are grade II listed buildings.  The Hall is at the heart of a 120 hectare estate which is also available for filming.

Hengrave Hall

Hengrave Hall is an elegant wedding venue located in Hengrave, Suffolk.. This stunning Grade 1* listed Tudor mansion is situated within an impressive 350-acre estate and is an exclusive use wedding venue, which exudes historic charm, complete with its own idyllic church.

Roos Hall

Roos Hall is a Grade 1 listed red brick Tudor manor house dated 1583, set in its medieval parkland with river frontage, the hall retains original fireplaces and panelling. Formerly owned by Lord Nelson’s mother’s family. Extensive original features and rooms including; madrigal gallery, summer room, hallways, kitchen, pantry, four posted beds, stables, cottage, fields.
