BFI Film Academy hits Lowestoft

Last week we were very happy to be able to assist the latest batch of BFI Film Academy students with their short films.  The Film Academy is aimed at 16 – 19 year olds and offers invaluable experience working alongside industry professionals.  This fantastic scheme offers hands-on film making experience to give students a first taste of what it will be like to work in this growing industry.

Expertly delivered by Creative Nation, the course was held in Norfolk but the aspiring film makers used Lowestoft as one of their key locations and Screen Suffolk were delighted to help make that happen.

You can watch the short films that the participants produced in just one week – here.  Enjoy!  Don’t worry if you think you’ve missed out on this great opportunity – the next BFI Film Academy in the region will be hosted from Ipswich.  Keep an eye on our website and social media for more information about how to apply.
