We’ve had a busy few months at Screen Suffolk with lots of locations being used in a wide array of location filming and photography shoots across the county.

With our new team members now bedded in and working on lots of potential shoots, we’ve been out on recce’s across the county, welcoming in production companies and signing up new locations ranging from private houses through to windswept beaches. Our database of crew and cast has been evolving weekly and we are always looking for new sign up’s whether your looking for work, or the first opportunity to get a foot hold into the industry. In the last few months we’ve arranged for placements and work experience on The Detectorists and Ridley Scott’s new movie ‘All the Money in the World’.

Suffolk was heavily featured in the BBC’s A Child in Time which was shot at Shingle Street and used a council building to substitute The Shard in an upcoming episode  of The Detectorists. We also negotiated the only filming that will take place at The Winerack in Ipswich for a BFI funded Microwave film before it gets developed in the New Year into apartments.

We’ve got some exciting productions coming up towards the end of the year, including DIY SOS in Mildenhall and some other projects which will be revealed shortly.
