As part of the inaugural East Suffolk Business Festival, we will be hosting the opening event and talking about our work over the last 2 years, showing excerpts from productions that have visited our county and talking about how filming can help your business and local area.
The event will start with an official welcome from Council leaders as part of the overall launch of the Business Festival and then we will take over. You will hear from industry experts and local businesses that have benefited from recent filming and how you can get involved in this exciting industry.
The agenda for the event is as follows:
10.30am – Arrival
11am – Welcome speech
11.30am – Presentation by Screen Suffolk
11.50am – Question and Answer session with Alex Bird, a student from the British Film Institute Academy who has recently worked on the Danny Boyle production as well as the new David Copperfield film
12pm – Halesworth as a case study for filming by Screen Suffolk
12.30pm – Question and Answer session with Neil McGlone about his Film Feast, Food and Drink Film Festival in Woodbridge and how he involved local businesses
1pm – Lunch (provided) and drop in session for businesses to meet Screen Suffolk
